From April 25th to April 30th 2006 in the Thalia Cinemas and at the Academy for Film and Television Konrad Wolf in Potsdam-Babelsberg
sehsüchte (roughly: »viewing addictions«) - the biggest student film festival in Europe.
Over the course of six days we presented films from students and amateur film-makers from around the world, accompanied by podium discussions, open forums and wild parties. Juries featuring prominent figures from the film industry awarded the best films with awards of over 35,000 euros in total.
Besides the regular competition, we had this year a very interesting Focus Russia an after the festival we showed a Best-Of.
